Waiwhenua Farms is run by a husband and wife team, dedicated to high-quality animal and land management across 715 hectares of leased land. Situated just 45 minutes from Hastings and 20 minutes from Sherenden School, our operation values reliability, integrity, and a forward-thinking approach.

• Intensive winter and summer lamb finishing
• Bull beef finishing
• Deer velveting
• Own contracting for cropping and regressing programmes

• Daily stock shifts across the 3 farms
• Yard work with sheep, cattle and deer
• Infrastructure maintenance (fences, water systems, etc.)
• Accurate digital record keeping using FarmIQ and Resolution

• At least 2-3 broken in working dogs
• Ideally two years of industry experience (cadetship or workforce experience)
• Full NZ driver's licence
• NZ residency
• Reliable, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and forward-thinking

• Tidy 3-bedroom cottage included
• On-farm hunting opportunities
