Location: Christchurch, New Zealand
Beamline Ltd is a leading structural steel detailing firm delivering high-quality detailing services for residential and commercial construction projects across New Zealand and Australia. Due to a growing workload, we are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Detailer proficient in Tekla Structures (2022 or later) to join our dynamic team.
About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who brings not only technical expertise but also a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the New Zealand and/or Australian construction industries and be confident working in a collaborative team environment.
Role Requirements
- Proficient in Tekla Structures 2022 or later
- 3–5 years’ experience in structural steel detailing
- Strong ability to read and interpret structural and architectural plans
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and office environment
- Legally eligible to work in New Zealand
- 3D modelling of structural design components using Tekla Structures
- Generation and editing of shop drawings in line with client specifications
- Management of the RFI (Request for Information) process
- Ensuring a consistent level of quality and attention to detail across all deliverables
