About the Role and you

An internal movement has resulted in a fantastic opportunity for a high performing consultant who is looking for a career with a difference This is a unique consulting position, where quality administration, stakeholder engagement and public speaking form the core of the positions remit.

ACE stands for Advanced Choice of Employment. It is a collaborative graduate recruitment process that assists graduate registered nurses (RN's) and Enrolled Nurses (EN's) in finding their first role as graduate in New Zealand.

Working across Registered employers in the NZ Health system, this position is pivotal in supporting equitable health outcomes for our communities Running virtual career and information sessions as part of your BAU, you'll be managing large volumes of applications, leading job matches via an algorithm or manual matching process.

A key to your success will be your prior experience working to deadlines, as well as your well-honed communication and negotiation skill sets. Your day-to-day role will see you managing E2E nursing applications, liaising with stakeholders, managing talent pools and the nursing ATS.

Overarching, your contribution will be fundamental to enabling the delivery of high-quality, equitable health services that reflect the needs and aspirations of our communities.

About you

You're someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, who takes pride and is confident managing multiple priorities. You'll have sharp eye for detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for your stakeholders.

Your ability to build strong relationships and communicate clearly will draw on your experience from a similar position. This position sees you requiring to flex and adapt daily, therefore your comfort working within change based environment is paramount.

Day to day you'll proactively liaise with managers, clinicians and candidates within a portfolio of specialties/services. Providing advice and guidance on recruitment, allocation and employment processes and dealing with complaints, ideas and feedback.

We are seeking applications from candidates who have
  • Ideally worked as a Recruitment Consultant / Coordinator or within the HR sector
  • An exceptional administrative skill set and confidence across the Microsoft suite
  • Can evidence risk mitigation methodologies within work practice
  • Experience in volume-based environments
  • Have the experience / confidence to regularly present information to large groups of people
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders, able to negotiate and plan to reconcile individual competing priories
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in a professional context
