**He angitutanga | The Opportunity:**

As the **Weekend Lounge Supervisor**, you’ll oversee daily lounge operations during weekend shifts, ensuring high service standards across front- and back-of-house areas. You’ll supervise and support the team, maintain food safety and cleanliness standards, and deliver a consistently welcoming, premium experience aligned with Air New Zealand and Compass Group expectations.

• Supervise lounge operations during weekend shifts, allocating tasks and supporting team members to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by responding promptly to guest needs and escalating issues appropriately.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and food safety across dining, kitchen, and public areas.
• Support staff training, performance, and engagement by modelling professional behaviour and service excellence.
• Assist with food preparation, service setup, stock rotation, and adherence to the site food safety plan.

• Experience in a supervisor or senior hospitality role within a food service, lounge, or similar environment.
• A confident, approachable leader who enjoys supporting and motivating a team.
• Strong communication skills with a warm, professional service style.
• Reliable, physically fit, and flexible to work weekends in an airport environment.
• Committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and personal presentation.
