Established in 1926 Air bp sells fuel products and services in over 50 countries over 700+ locations. Over 6,000 flights are fueled every day, that is 1 flight every 15 seconds. Our products include JET fuel, Avgas and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

And the job:

An Aircraft Refueller role has become available at our Wellington airport site. The operational hours are 05:00 to 22:00hrs per day, seven days per week on a shift roster.

Below describes the role description:
  • Observing safe work practices either enforced by Air bp or by relevant statutory authorities
  • Operating Air bp approved aviation refuelling equipment
  • Work in a one team environment with a positive, respectful manner
  • Conducting refuelling duties in a customer responsive manner can-do attitude
  • Conducting minor maintenance on vehicles and other equipment
  • Administrative tasks such as daily reconciliation, entering of data, updating quality control data and maintenance of records
Minimum requirements for the role are:
  • Driving heavy trucks, so Heavy Rigid License (Class 4)
  • A clean driving record.
  • Dangerous Goods Endorsement (D) preferred, but not essential as training would be provided.

It's important to note that the role also requires satisfactory completion of company pre-employment medicals, drug and alcohol test, and police checks. Applicants for this position should have NZ citizenship, residency, or a valid NZ work visa.
