Our Head Chef and Sous Chef are experienced, passionate, and work as an amazing team. We’re looking to add a Chef de Partie who is dedicated, reliable, and ready to help us lift the bar even further.
The Role:As our new Chef de Partie, you’ll run a kitchen section and deliver consistently high-quality Kiwi cuisine – from pub classics like fish & chips and roast pork sandwiches, through to our Stonegrill favourites and seasonal desserts. You’ll be part of a team that values preparation, consistency, and ownership.
Key Responsibilities:- Run your own section confidently during prep and service.
- Prepare, cook, and plate dishes to a consistent standard.
- Maintain mise en place and manage stock in your area.
- Work closely with the Head & Sous Chef to deliver service seamlessly.
- Follow recipes and SOPs, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are always met.
- Support and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar Chef de Partie or senior cook role.
- Confidence with Kiwi pub/restaurant classics and the ability to deliver consistency under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
- A reliable team player who communicates well and fits into our culture of ownership, accountability, and responsibility.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as part of the roster.
- Already in New Zealand, eligible to work, and able to start at short notice.
