Project Manager

Insulated Panel Systems is part of the long-established Kiwi Group of Companies and specialises in insulated and warm roofing systems.
The Company operates predominantly in the Auckland region, but also in the Waikato and Northland regions. The business works on a wide range of project types and varied roofing systems.
The Project Manager role is pivotal to the smooth delivery of our projects and requires a person with the correct skills and attributes to manage and develop key relationships with our external customers and our internal team of installers.
Key Responsibilities:-- Managing a broad and varied range of projects of differing sizes and complexity from commencement to completion.
- Actively participate and promote Insulated Panel Systems' Health and Safety Management System.
- Review plans and specifications and ensure projects are delivered to the approved shop and construction drawings.
- Assess labour requirements and plan resource levels with senior staff to ensure programmes are met and milestones achieved.
- Manage direct employees and subcontractors to ensure work is completed in a timely manner and to the required health, safety and quality standards.
- Undertake Quality Assurance audits and ensure corrective work is undertaken as required.
- Assist consultants and Clients' staff with detail and design input as required.
- Measure and order materials as required to achieve the contract programme.
- Attend all internal and external meetings as required.
- Actively participate in Client driven processes, such as Last Planner.
- Lead and motivate the installation teams and subcontractors.
- Be the Client's point of contact for all active projects under their control.
- Experience in the New Zealand Roofing Industry.
- Good communication and relationship building skills.
- Motivation to perform and develop themselves and those around them.
- Excellent knowledge of roofing materials and installation procedures and ideally those involved in warm roofing systems.
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams of roofing installers and subcontractors.
- A disciplined and self-motivated approach to work with the drive to excel.
- A competitive salary of $100-150k including discretionary bonus, plus vehicle, phone and laptop.
