Are you an experienced senior registered nurse with a passion for quality and excellence in the adult cancer setting?

Te whiwhinga mahi | The OpportunityWe are looking for a senior registered nurse with proven leadership skills to take up this new position in our Service.

A key priority for the regional Cancer and Blood Service is to establish cancer care closer to home in both hospital and community settings across the Northern Auckland region. The role of the Nurse Consultant will be a pivotal part of this strategy and will work regionally to facilitate and coordinate a culture of excellence in quality improvement and safety.

You will provide professional and clinical advice and be a regional resource to ensure that systems and processes are in place to support our patients and whanau across the region.

Nga Pukenga Motuhake | Important SkillsWe are seeking a senior nurse with a track record of success in leadership and quality assurance with the ability to facilitate and manage change at a Directorate and regional level.

You will:* Be able to lead quality improvement activities
  • Be able to travel to regional sites
  • Be a New Zealand registered nurse with a current APC who holds a postgraduate qualification and a minimum of 5 years nursing in this speciality practice area.

Salary range is from NZ $130,154 to $140,764 p.a depending on experience.
