Qualified Teacher (BestStart Kaikorai Valley Road)
We're on the lookout for a passionate, self-motivated, and reflective Qualified and Certificated Teacher to join our close-knit team at BestStart Kaikorai Valley Road.
This is a permanent, part-time position, working 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday, based in a warm and welcoming centre just minutes from central Dunedin.

About You
We're looking for a teacher who will:
- Bring a Level 7 ECE or Primary qualification and current Teacher Certification
- Champion our centre philosophy and model strong, respectful relationships
- Be an advocate for tamariki at all times, fostering confidence, resilience, and curiosity
- Collaborate with others to achieve the best outcomes for children, whanau, and kaiako
- Respond positively to diverse cultures and perspectives
- Understand and uphold ECE compliance and regulatory standards
- Communicate with respect, clarity, and kindness, both verbally and in writing
- Be committed to ongoing personal and professional learning
- Demonstrate strong teaching skills and an ability to deliver quality learning outcomes
