Receptionist & Admin Assistant - Part Time
Now, all we need is another experienced Receptionist to help keep things running smoothly!
The Body Workshop offers a comprehensive range of natural health solutions and practices to sustain great health - with a focus on synergy between the body and mind. We practice Traditional Acupuncture and cutting-edge Physiotherapy, offer natural health supplements and herbal medicines, and have therapeutic massage onsite.
We currently have an opening for a Receptionist, who will provide support to our wider team. We are looking for someone to provide great front-line support, greeting new and existing clients as they arrive, and assisting them with any administrative enquiries.Our new Receptionist will take a proactive approach to maintaining client records, ensuring appointments are running on time, and following up with cancellations and new appointments. Our goal is to find someone with an interest in natural health and attention to detail, for managing patients, therapists, the smooth running of the clinic, and everything in between!
This will be a fixed term contract for approximately 12 months starting from mid-October 2025, the possibility of extension beyond this will be discussed for the right person.This role will also involve supporting and working with our current Receptionist and providing sole reception cover.
This is a part-time position that requires early morning starts i.e. not just school hours.
Hours would be approx 20-30 hours per week.
The right person for this role must have good PC skills and Reception experience.
And we require the following experience and skills:
- Experience in a reception role or customer care
- Excellent people skills and ability to build rapport with everyone
- Ability to work well during busy periods and prioritise well under pressure
- Willingness to take responsibility for tasks and follow through on solutions
- Ability to interact and work well in a team
- Strong ability to communicate verbally and in writing, in a professional manner
- Confident computer skills and very accurate data entry
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Intermediate level ability (minimum) to use our PMS, Microsoft Word/Excel, Gmail, Quip & Dropbox
- Most importantly, you must enjoy working in a fun, vibrant and diverse team!
