About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and open minded individual to join our Anaesthetic Technician team here in Hastings in the role of Perioperative Unit Educator. In recent years the Anaesthetic Technician training has changed to a degree based programme with a look towards a broader scope than previously.
This will be reflected in the way you approach the education towards out Perioperative Practice trainees. The Perioperative Unit Educator will also provide education support for our qualified Anaesthetic Technicians and provide upskilling training to the wider unit as required.

We currently have a range of students from first through to third year so adaptability and time management is crucial to this role.

About you

We are looking for an experienced Anaesthetic Technician with proven clinical excellence in your role. You should be at least 4 years post qualification and ideally with a qualification in education, though this is not essential. You will have a good understanding of the new degree programme and what is required of the students from semester to semester.

Our training programme has changed so you will ideally be a forward looking practitioner that is open to exploring new avenues and opportunities for Anaesthetic Technicians and promoting these.
