Join us at our beach-side Italian restaurant in Dunedin as a Chef de Partie in either our Pasta or Pizza section.
We have an amazing and very stable kitchen team of international and local Chefs & well developed systems.
Work with the best ingredients, Italian flour, cured meats and high quality cheeses
We have expanded and are looking for:
Chef de Parties- A skilled Chef with the ability to run your own section
- You will be super organised, take pride in your work and enjoy working with others who share your high standards
- Preferably someone experienced with fresh pasta production and cooking of pasta during service
- A minimum of three years experience working in a busy a la carte restaurant
- The ability to keep a cool and calm, maintaining a positive outlook under pressure
- An excellent communicator
- At least 3 years experience in a fast, busy Italian style pizzeria
- Confident and experienced in hand stretching dough
- Experienced with the production of slow rise dough
- Preparation of sliced meats, cheeses, and all pizza sauces and toppings
- Skill in cooking in a wood-fired pizza oven during a busy service
- A positive outlook with excellent communication
