Join Ritchies, one of New Zealand’s leading transport providers, and take charge of day-to-day operations at our Wellsford bus depo This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage people, processes, and performance to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused service.
About the role- Oversee daily depot operations including rostering, bus despatch, and compliance.
- Lead and support drivers, cleaners, and yard staff with pastoral care and performance management.
- Drive Health, Safety & Wellbeing initiatives and ensure all incidents are managed and reported promptly.
- Manage recruitment and onboarding of drivers in partnership with the People Team.
- Monitor performance data, identify trends, and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to deliver service excellence.
- Respond to customer queries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
