We are seeking a skilled and creative Head Chef to oversee kitchen operations, plan and prepare high-quality dishes, ensure excellent food presentation, maintain food costs and stock, and be responsible for kitchen staff rostering . The ideal candidate is passionate about food, organized, and able to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
Chefs/ Cooks
We are seeking dependable and skilled cooks to prepare meals in accordance with our established recipes and standards. Working under our Head Chef, the Cook will be responsible for setting up the kitchen, preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring cleanliness and food safety, always maintaining a high level of restaurant quality and presentation.
All positions must be available for day, evening and weekend shifts.
What we are looking for: Head Chef role
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
- Food Handler’s Certification or equivalent
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A sound knowledge of cooking fundamentals with a high level of execution
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Staff rostering
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and specifications
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
