A well established Electrical and Plumbing business in West Otago, is looking for suitably qualified person to assist the current owner/manager and take over the day to day operation of this business.Having been in operation since 2005, the business offers a high quality service in the above fields, servicing a diverse client base across West Otago, Eastern Southland and surrounding areas.
Services include parts, repairs, maintenance, new constructions and a variety of commercial, industrial and residential projects. The area comprises a strong dairy farm component, which generates a large portion of ongoing maintenance work in that area.
We envisage the successful candidate would have extensive trade experience in the Electrical and/or Plumbing trade. The position involves a variety of tasks: Quotes, Estimates and Invoicing
Job management/schedulingDaily team meetings (currently 7 staff)
General office tasks, ie emails, client queries, sourcing and ordering product parts etc
Supporting existing staff with unexpected breakdown calls etc
The position would suit someone looking to relocate to a rural area, that is still centrally located to Dunedin, Invercargill, Central Otago, while also offering a lower cost of living.The remuneration package is openly negotiable.
