Christchurch - Duty Manager / Bar Manager

The award winning team that brought you King of Snake is looking for a Duty Manager / Bar Manager at our sister venue, ROCA!

As a Duty Manager / Bar Manager at ROCA, you will:

• Provide an excellent level of customer service
• Manage stock - being responsible for ordering, maintaining adequate stock levels, adhering to business KPI's
• Serve guests - being responsible for engaging with our valued guests and team in a positive & professional way
• Support the General Manager with the day-to-day operational management of the business - including business KPI's, staff training & development, quality control, managing functions & events, and general business oversight.
• Train bar staff to the skill level required
• Create excellent cocktails & have outstanding general beverage knowledge

This role will require someone with the skills to manage the restaurant independently, in the General Manager's absence.

Requirements:

This is a senior position, and requires candidates to:

• Be at least 20 years of age
• Have at least one year of Duty Managers' experience or a relevant qualification
• Have the desire to up-skill & progress their career in hospitality
• Have excellent personal presentation
• Have the willingness to work and lead from the front within the business
• Have a passion for customer service
• Have a willingness to learn, adapt, and grow
• Have an active Duty Managers certificate
