Casual Production Support

About Us
New Zealand owned and operated since 1978, Kings Seeds (NZ) Ltd has been a family-owned business over its 45 plus years of operation. We are well known by home gardeners and commercial growers throughout New Zealand for the diverse range of seed varieties that we sell.Our range contains close to 1000 different varieties covering seeds for vegetables, herbs, flowers, organics, microgreens and sprouting.
We sell all our seed products online and are continuing to grow our customer base through our online marketing and social media platforms where we have a great following. We are a small team that values a good work ethic, engaging culture and a shared morning tea.
Continued interest in our products has meant we require a casual employee to support our busy winter and spring packing and sales seasons in addition to ad hoc periods of work throughout the remainder of the year, such as to provide cover for periods of staff leave.
What will you be doing?
Based at our rural site just south of Katikati, your main duties as our Casual Production Support will involve highly manual tasks including:- Printing packets
- Packing seeds by hand into small retail packets from bulk
- Picking and packing orders
- Despatch of orders
- Other tasks as required to support our team
Hours of work are casual as required and agreed between Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.
