About the Role
We are currently seeking a Production Operator to join our team in Mount Maunganui on an 8-month fixed-term contract.This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll support the production of chemical products through batching, mixing, dilution, and packaging processes. You’ll be working as part of a supportive, close-knit team in a manufacturing environment.

- Operate forklifts safely (where required)
- Prepare and handle raw materials for production
- Label products including IBCs, drums, and pails
- Wash, inspect, and test packaging for reuse
- Operate automated and manual mixing equipment
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and operational processes
- Step into a 2IC (Second-in-Charge) role when required to support team operations
- Previous experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, or food production
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work in a hands-on environment
- Police check
- Medical assessment
- Drug and alcohol testing
