Casual Caregiver

We're looking for casual caregivers to join our team to support and care for our wonderful residents
Duties and responsibilities in short:- Administering medications
- Help and support with all personal cares
- Mobility assistance
- Support with meal times & feeding
- Light house keeping, laundry, and cleaning common areas
- Work collaboratively with our registered nurses and other care giving staff
- Be able to build relationships with residents and their families
- Create a calm and reassuring environment
Requirements: Basic knowledge of computer and tablet use.
Minimum 1 year experience in a rest home or care facilityNew Zealand citizenship/residency or a working visa for a minimum of 2 years.
Current First Aid/ CPR certificate
A current New Zealand full drivers' license.
Able to work any rostered shifts: 7am-3:30pm, 3pm - 11:30pm, 11:15pm - 7:15am
Preference will be giving if you have any of the following: Completed recognized study for working in Dementia or Mental Health.
Worked with electronic medication databases/Apps such as Medi Map.Able to commence immediately.
