Christchurch - Maintenance Supervisor
- Plan and execute maintenance tasks (scheduled and emergent) relevant to mechanical equipment on site.
- Implementation and development of routine maintenance checks and associated standard maintenance procedures.
- Ensures equipment, materials and tools are on hand for work execution. Reports resources and time utilized, job scope expansion, rework or deferred maintenance as required.
- Assist with the development, and application of safe and practical machinery isolation practices.
- Day to day supervision of the area of responsibility - maintaining good employee relations that encourage productivity, motivation, engaging culture and positive morale.
- Ensure quality management systems are in place and strictly adhered to.
- Proven maintenance fitter experience in an automated manufacturing environment
- Qualified Mechanical Technician - Mechanical Trade Certificate or equivalent
- Previous supervisory experience
- Proactive problem-solving approach to work with awareness of cost control
- Flexible to support day & night shifts
- Full NZ driver licence class 1
- Ability to work well under pressure with time management skills
