Thirkettle Nurseries is a leading Wholesale Container Nursery located in Hope, Nelson. We grow a variety of plants for retail, landscaping and amenity sectors and freight our plants throughout New Zealand. Established in 1982 by John & Jackie Thirkettle, we have grown from a small producer of fruit trees to a large wholesale nursery.We currently have 12 hectares in container production, with 10,000 m2 under plastic and employ 30+ staff.
Our current team member has decided to retire, so we are on the hunt for a Customer Relationship Administrator to join our tight knit team in the office to assist with customer relations and dispatch administration. Reporting to the General Manager, this role will primarily focus on providing an excellent customer service experience including processing orders, managing relationships, updating database information and managing customer complaints.The Customer Relationship Administrator will also be responsible for assisting the dispatch manager with order information, labels, freight consignments and team leader communications.
To be successful in this role you will have- Proven customer service skills
- Administrative experience
- The ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
- Ability to adapt/respond to different situations and communication styles
- Proven experience with Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong organisational skills
- Plant knowledge would be advantageous but is not required
