Qualified Automotive Technician in Whakatane

We have a vacancy for a Qualified Automotive Technician in our Ford Service Department.

This position is permanent and full time with the opportunity to work overtime when it is available.

What we are looking for: Qualified Automotive Technician / 3 years or more experience.

Current WOF AVI certification would be a strong advantage.
Excellent understanding of Diagnosing (fault finding), repairing and servicing, and experience with diagnostic scan tools would be advantageous.
Accuracy and quality focused with the ability to problem solve and think laterally.
Organised, efficient, and methodical.
Great communication skills.
Possess a “Can Do” attitude.
Full and clean driver's license.

Must be currently residing within New Zealand or be a citizen of New Zealand.

40 hours per week.
Competitive rate of $33-$40 per hour dependent on experience.

Every Tech has their own company iPad for inspections.

Skills Required: The successful applicant will need to be qualified and have strong mechanical skills.

Have a sound knowledge of Modern vehicle electrical diagnostics, servicing, and repairs.
Ford training would be an advantage but not required.
To be able to work unsupervised.
Strong time management skills.
Exceptional attention on inspection sheets and general paperwork.
Possess a customer satisfaction focused attitude and work well in a team.
Your experience will be invaluable in assisting the development and training of our apprentice staff.
