Working in partnership with operational leaders, you will guide the delivery of safe, compassionate, and highquality patient care that reflects Health NZs goals and system-wide priorities. Your role will be central in shaping cohesive, integrated pharmacy services by fostering collaboration across professions, supporting consistent standards of practice, and ensuring equitable access to care for communities across Te Tai Tokerau.You will play a key role in strengthening clinical governance, workforce capability, and the sustainability of pharmacy services.
This includes overseeing credentialing and compliance, leading training and supervision, and supporting proactive workforce planning. Youll also drive improvement initiatives, with a focus on preventive care and better outcomes for Māori, Pacific, and underserved populations.As a senior clinical leader, you will influence system governance, contribute to policy development, and take on additional strategic responsibilities as required to support service performance and continuous improvement across the region.Click here to view to position description.For more information on living and working in Northland, click hereAbout youTo be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 7 years experience as a Pharmacist, with proven ability to provide professional advice to team members in relation to clinical skills and practice.Relevant allied health tertiary qualification, with current NZ annual practising certificateRelevant postgraduate qualificationsCurrent NZ drivers licenceKnowledge of current standards of practice and experience relating to clinical service provisions.Previous experience in project management quality improvement initiatives, change management, including drafting business casesProven knowledge and understanding of the hospital, the local community and issuesWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
