Property Care Assistant

Hours: 10-25 hours per week, between 10am–3pm daily, with some weekend work required. Flexibility is valued.
Commitment: You will be on a casual contract, and we will aim to give you from 10-25 hours weekly. This goes up and down with seasonal demand, school holidays etc.
What you’ll do:- Present properties to high standards for guest arrivals.
- Clean and sanitise properties with care and attention to detail.
- Manage linen and consumables inventory.
- Record and report property maintenance issues promptly.
- Report to the Property Services Manager and work alongside the Groundswell Property Team.
- Team player with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail–you spot what others miss.
- Good time-management and organisational skills.
- Willingness to assist, support, and communicate with colleagues.
- Commitment to work
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow company processes.
- Practical, confident, and adaptable to change.
- Able to commit to Sunday/Monday shifts
- Prepared to use your own car. Clean driving license required. We reimburse IRD standard kilometre rates.
