Contracted Hours: 50 hours per week
Work Schedule: Includes late nights (up to 10:00 PM) and weekend shifts
About the RoleWe are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Retail Sales Representative to join our team.
This hands-on role involves delivering excellent customer service, managing point-of-sale
transactions, restocking inventory, and contributing to the smooth day-to-day operations of our
retail store.
Key Responsibilities- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, handle cash, EFTPOS and credit transactions
- Unload and process deliveries, including heavy lifting of stock
- Replenish shelves and maintain tidy product displays
- Follow opening and closing procedures, including balancing the till
- Assist with stocktake and inventory management
- Maintain health and safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Work as part of a team to ensure the store meets performance and presentation
standards
Requirements- Must be available to work late evenings (up to 10pm) and weekends
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy stock and boxes (up to 25kg)
- Experience in retail, sales or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Honest, reliable, and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Contracted for 50 hours per week at a rate of $25.00 per hour
- Rostered shifts will include weekends and late nights
- Ongoing training and development provided
