We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Technician with a current WOF (Warrant of Fitness) Certification to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs, with a strong focus on ensuring vehicles meet all safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose repair & service petrol and diesel vehicles across a wide range of makes and models.
  • Conduct general vehicle servicing and repairs (brakes, suspension, engines, etc.)
  • Perform WOF inspections in accordance with NZTA regulations
  • Complete job cards, inspection sheets, and service reports accurately
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Stay up-to-date with automotive technology and NZTA regulations
Requirements:
  • Current WOF Certification (NZTA approved) – essential
  • Relevant automotive trade qualification (e.g., National Certificate in Motor Industry)
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in automotive repair and servicing
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, to identify faults in engines, transmissions, steering, suspension & electrical systems
  • Valid New Zealand driver’s license (Full Class 1)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
