We are currently looking for empathetic and passionate Support Workers based in the Horowhenua region for our community-based services - RIDSAS. You will provide dedicated care and assistance to individuals with disabilities who are involved in the criminal justice system.

NZCL focuses on the provision of intensive rehabilitative support for our people to develop the skills they require to recognise their full potential and to participate in their communities.

What does a Community Support Worker do?

As a Community Support Worker, you will be supporting people in their daily life to recognise their potential and develop the skills needed to participate in their communities. This is achieved through the implementation and delivery of their care and rehabilitation plan.

This is a rewarding role, which will require you to develop positive relationships with people and their whanau, and to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to assist and support people to achieve their rehabilitative goals.
