About the RoleThe successful applicant willProvide quality patient care under the supervision of an RN, and assisting patients to maintain as much of their independence as possible.Provide and maintain a caring, supportive safe environment in which patients can recover and return to their homes or place of residency.Attend to patients personal hygiene, repositioning, feeding, toileting as requiredAnswer bells promptly and act on requestsProvide close observations of vulnerable patients to ensure their safetyCommunicate with the RNs, family & members of the health care team in a friendly, courteous mannerCarry out assigned tasks such as cleaning, restocking, tidying and checking of equipmentContribute to the maintenance of supplies by ordering, processing and monitoring of stock levels About the Team/Service/ LocationHealth New Zealand |Te Whatu Ora Lakes provides healthcare from its two modern and progressive general hospitals in Rotorua and Taupo, New Zealand.
