About the RoleYou will be working within a large Renal Service and be responsible for providing care to patient who attend the Regional Renal Centre across Incentre dialysis, hometraining, Assisted care unit, Acute renal dialysis unit, Peritoneal dialysis.

You will also be involved in supporting our Renal procedure list which is carried out in interventional radiology. You will be required to carry out a wide range of tasks.Be part of a large team providing care for Renal patients from across Te Manawa Taki region.Provide care to Renal patients with a focus on providing safe and expert careBe part of the one of the biggest dialysis units in New ZealandBe part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team Click here to view the position description.

About the ServiceThe Regional Renal Service provides acute and chronic Renal services for Waikato, Lakes, Bay of Plenty and Tairawhiti. This includes all aspects of Renal care including Hospital based dialysis, Home therapies for both Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis, Chronic Kidney Disease and Renal Transplantation.

About youHealth Care Assistant related certificateExperience working in the health system caring for patientsDemonstrate the ability to work in a team and help manage a case load of patients with complex health needsDemonstrate excellent clinical skills and knowledge of infection control practices within the clinic settingEnthusiastic and hardworkingBe hardworking and a team playerCompetency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growthExperience in upholding Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
