Health Care Assistant CACC.Would you like to enhance the experience of patients and whanau that attend the Child and Adolescent Centre (CACC)?Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleHealth New Zealand, Taranaki are seeking a temporary health care assistant to cover parental leave.This position is for 0.75 FTE or 60 hours a fortnightThe health care assistant plays an important role in the community child health team, and is responsible for welcoming and supporting Tamariki, rangatahi and whanau in paediatric outpatient clinics.

The health care assistant works closely with administrators, nursing and medical staff to coordinate patient flow.Other responsibilities include maintenance of the waiting area and clinics, maintenance of clinic stock and consumable products for children and rangatahi, in the community.Please click here to view the position descriptionAbout the Team/Service/ LocationThe Child and Adolescent Centre (CACC) is the hub of community child health and provides a range of allied, nursing and medical services to tamariki, rangitahi and whanau in Taranaki.
