The Kilbirnie Lyall Bay Community Centre was established in 1992 and funded by the Wellington City Council. Governance is provided by a volunteer Management Committee.

The KLBCC is seeking a multi-skilled individual looking for an interesting and diverse position making a difference in the community. This position is a permanent part-time position with opportunity for extra hours on occasion with a small tight knit team.The ideal candidate will be someone with a passion for community service and a strong sense of self. Training will be provided, as well as the option to take ongoing skill-building workshops such as First Aid Training, Descalation, and Community Outreach Courses.
Private parking is available.
Administration: Working in the KLBCC Office, closely supporting the Coordinator with daily agendas and administration to keep the Centre running smoothly by managing social media, preparing newsletters, organising event bookings, taking phone calls, making flyers, etc.
Drop in Staff: People-facing, chatting with locals and serving tea/coffee, setting up and packing down, and helping coordinate Regularly Scheduled community activities such as Art Groups, Sing-a-Longs, Film showings, etc.

Hours: 20/week
Mondays 9:30 am - 3:00 pmWednesdays 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Thursdays 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Fridays 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Rate: $26/hr
