We’re seeking a confident and capable administrator to support our client, a busy and efficient team in central Palmerston North. This fixed term role is to cover a secondment for five months.

This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll be the go-to person for a range of administrative tasks that help keep the site running smoothly. From managing reception and coordinating schedules, to supporting the recruitment process and assisting with payroll – you’ll be a jack of all trades who thrives on variety and working at pace.

You will also be based in the office full time.

In this role, you will:

  • Greet visitors and manage front desk duties
  • Coordinate day-to-day site administration, including car servicing, appointments, safety risk assessments, and scheduling
  • Support recruitment administration, including reference checks and vetting paperwork
  • Act as a PA to the Site Manager when needed
  • Work confidently with people across a range of ages and backgrounds

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Confident, empathetic, and comfortable dealing with a wide range of people
  • Able to hit the ground running, with excellent organisational skills
  • Resilient, reliable, and able to juggle multiple priorities
  • Experienced in admin – we’ll consider strong graduates with some relevant experience
  • Able to pass police vetting and reference checks and has a full drivers license
