Due to a large pipeline of works across Southeast Queensland we are looking for experienced Pipe Layers, Operators and Foreman to join our Drainage Crews. If you're a hard worker, reliable and looking for a long-term career we have an opportunity for you!
Working in small, supportive teams of five, you will have the opportunity to work across Sewer, Storm and Water Mains on Subdivisions, Infrastructure, Community Projects, and Roadworks. You'll have a clear pathway to develop your career, gaining formal qualifications and enhancing your skills with nationally recognised tickets including a Certificate III Civil Construction Pipe Laying.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
PIPE LAYERS:
- Demonstrated experience laying sewer, storm water and water main.
- Ability to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks with some moderate to heavy lifting and reaching.
- Capable of shooting and reducing levels using Dumpy level
- Ability to set-up pipe laser
- Ability to read, interpret and understand plans and standards
EXCAVATOR OPERATORS:
- Skilled in operating 20 tonne plus machines with demonstrated experience of lifting operations using excavator
- competent around shoring box work and deep excavations
- Knowledge of hand signals and instructions
- Able to bench trenches to industry standards
- Experienced in excavating around existing services and teams
- Knowledge and ability to use GPS - desirable but not essential
FOREMAN:
- Prior experience as a Civil Drainage Foreman (minimum 2 years)
- You'll have a solid understanding of advanced civil pipe principles with demonstrated experience in residential subdivision works installing deep sewer, storm water and water.
- Knowledge to deal with all adverse ground conditions.
- Comprehensive understanding of the current SEQ standards
- A strong commitment to OHS and Safe Work Practices
- Communicate with influence, sound written and verbal skills
- Various plant machinery tickets will be highly regarded
