Retail Manager - Vape Corner

Employment type: Permanent full-time (minimum guarantee of 30 hours and up to 45 hours)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute business plans to achieve performance and profitability targets.
• Oversee daily operations including stock control, ordering, supplier negotiations, and in-store merchandising.
• Prepare and manage budgets, monitor sales performance, and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Lead, train, roster, and supervise staff to deliver exceptional and compliant customer service.
• Ensure full compliance with the Smokefree Environments and Regulated Products Act 1990 and all health and safety legislation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised retail environment.

• At least 1 year of management or supervisory experience in retail, hospitality, or a similar customer-focused environment; OR-A relevant tertiary qualification such as a Postgraduate Diploma or Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, or related field
• Strong understanding of inventory management, supplier coordination, and customer service delivery-Basic financial management skills (budgeting, forecasting, reporting)
• Ability to lead a team and work effectively under compliance requirements
• Must be available to work early mornings (from 7am), weekends, and public holidays as part of the roster
• As the role has a lot of responsibilities, including financial responsibilities, we will ask/perform a MOJ conviction check and/or credit check
