CNC Operator

Job Description:
- - Read and interpret drawings, such as architecture and isometric drawings, carrying out complex computations and preparing diagrams.
- Program, set up and operate 5 axis CNC machines.
- Perform relevant site measurements with laser templating or similar technology.
- Performing and directing materials tests, according to specifications and requirements of the client, Project Manager or Director.
- Select the right tool and equipment specifications for different materials as natural stone and porcelain.
- Loading and unloading raw materials, finished products and tools supports into the CNC machine.
- Excellent attention to detail to be able to ensure that designs and specifications are equivalent to the finished product.
- Monitor the machining process, making adjustments as necessary to ensure precision and quality.
- Maintenance, assembling and installation of new components, machine tools and control of CNC Machine.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Requisites:
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, such as architecture and isometrics.
- Competence to ensure drawings performance with CAD standards.
- Familiarity with CAD interactions with several engineering software, such as Autocad and Autodesk.
- Experience with DDX EasyStone will be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of CAM methodologies.
- Experience and confidence in programming and operating CNC machines, such as Bridge Saw, WaterJet CNC, 5-axis machining center or similar.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to develop best practices CAD processes and procedures.
- Physically fit to lift 20 kg
- At least 3 years of relevant experience and relevant qualifications (Mechanical Engineering)
- Desirable certification in software engineering as DDX Easy Stone, Autodesk Autocad, Autodesk Construction Cloud, SolidWorks.
