We are seeking a skilled and motivated Press Brake Operator to join their talented team.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Lower Hutt. 40 hours per week
This position suits a hands-on individual with strong mechanical aptitude, a problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail. You’ll be responsible for programming and setting up the press brake machine, overseeing workflow, and ensuring production meets the highest standards.Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain press brake machinery
- Program and set up machines to meet production requirements
- Monitor workflows and identify/report any issues
- Carry out general workshop duties including packing, QA, and inwards goods
- Manage consumable stock for your station
- Meet tight production deadlines with consistent quality
- Minimum 2 years’ experience operating press brake machinery
- TRUMPF experience highly regarded (not essential)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and computer literacy
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and client specifications
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Physically fit with a proactive and adaptable approach
- Reliable, positive, and a strong team player
- Broad knowledge of materials used in manufacturing
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve
- Full-time, permanent role in Lower Hutt 40 hours per week
- $33 to 40 per hour dependant on skills and experience
