Warehouse Operator
RJ’s Confectionery is a well-established, market leading confectionery manufacturer, proudly producing licorice in Levin for over 30 years. We're known for our innovative, high-quality products and strong reputation in the industry. As we continue to Make It Evan Better, demand for our products keeps growing.
We're seeking a motivated and safety-focused Warehouse Operator to join our team. This role is essential to the smooth running of our production and warehouse operations ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and accurately, plus ensuring the flow of goods into and out of our production area.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming goods and materials in designated locations.
- Prepare and load outbound consignments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and stage materials or components for production to support operational requirements.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet stackers and forklifts in line with procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment at all times
- Assist with stock control, inventory counts, and general warehouse duties as required

To be successful, you will:- Have previous warehouse experience and a forklift license (essential)
- Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and lifting
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Competent in data entry and stock tracking using inventory management systems
- Demonstrate a strong health and safety mindset
- Work well under pressure
The working hours for this position are 7.30am - 4.00pm, Monday – Friday.
