Production Technician- Weekend Night Shift

About the Role
As a Production Technician, you'll create value by manufacturing high quality products within a clean, controlled environment. This hands-on role involves operating computer-controlled equipment, troubleshooting bioprocessing systems, conducting lab tests, and maintaining compliance with global manufacturing standards.
Shift: We are currently hiring for the following 12-hour rotating shift.- D Shift: Thurs–Sat and every other Sun | 5:00pm–5:00am
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor bioprocessing and filtration equipment
- Perform protein and chemical analysis (pH, conductivity, solids, clarity)
- Ensure GMP and regulatory compliance (MPI, FDA)
- Package, label, and prepare orders for dispatch
- Maintain clean, aseptic work conditions
- Operate a forklift and perform manual handling duties as required
Production Technicians may also be considered for seasonal or cross-functional assignments, including colostrum collection from partner dairy farms.These roles involve independent work in the field, driving company vehicles, handling colostrum under strict hygiene standards, and supporting our end-to-end collection and processing operations.
What You'll Need:
- NZCEA Level 2 or higher
- Previous manufacturing or lab experience preferred
- Comfort working in a physically active, fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs precisely
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with a rotating schedule
- Forklift operation experience a plus
- Full, unrestricted driver's license required
- Working knowledge of GMP principles and regulatory compliance (training provided to build expertise)
- Ability to lift up to 25kg
