Fleet Service Tyre Technician – Blenheim, Marlborough
Full time Permanent Role at Minimum of 40 hrs.Pay rate to be negotiated based on experience.
Carters Tyre Service - Blenheim, a locally owned franchise of the Carters Tyre Service network, is seeking an experienced Tyre Technician to join our Fleet Service team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position offering variety, responsibility, and genuine career development opportunities.

Position Overview
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality tyre management services for a wide range of vehicles, including retail customers’ cars and 4x4s, as well as commercial and fleet vehicles. Duties will include in-store service, on-site fleet work, callouts, and rostered after-hours service.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 7:30/8:00am – 5:00pm, with rostered callouts and Saturday work.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver professional tyre fitting, stripping, repair, and inspection services in accordance with company standards
- Conduct detailed tyre inspections and maintain accurate records in the Fleet Service system
- Provide knowledgeable product advice to customers,
- Promote Carters Tyre Service products and services to retail and commercial customers
- Support branch operations to meet performance targets and contribute to business growth
- Maintain high personal presentation standards and act as a positive representative of the company at all times
Essential:
-Minimum of 1 year’s experience in the commercial tyre industry, including fitting and stripping tubeless and tube-type tyres
- Full, clean New Zealand driver’s license
- Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships
- Attention to detail and accuracy in both technical and administrative tasks
- Ability to learn and apply new systems and processes efficiently
- Applicants need to be physically fit, in good health and capable of handling and lifting tyres and equipment.
