Duty Manager

To ensure the overall smooth and effective operation of the bar/restaurant with a strong customer service orientation.
Location: New PlymouthEmployment type: Full-time permanent
Days required: Rotating roster, including weekends
Hours per week: Minimum 30 hours per week rostered, including weekends
Hourly rate: $26-$30 depending on skill and experience
Experience: Minimum 2 years work experience OR relevant hospitality qualification. LCQ and Duty Managers Certificate is an advantage but training will be given to the right applicant.
Duties: Manage professional and cooperative relationship between kitchen and restaurant/bar staff. Prepare promotional initiatives such as food & beverage specials in consultation with the manager, chefs and staff. Prepare staff rosters. Ensure staff are adequately trained and comply with alcohol and safety policies.Manage bookings, functions. Manage stock supplies.
