Senior Advisor, Policyat NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) -
You’ll develop and deliver high-quality advice enabling both agencies to take a strategic approach in the work they do.About the roles: In this role you will be part of a team which provides support and advice to the Directors-General and the Minister Responsible for the GCSB and the NZSIS.

It goes without saying that initiative will be a key strength of yours.This is a unique opportunity to contribute to varied and exciting work programmes in a complex fast-paced environment which will require you to navigate quickly through complex and often ambiguous situations.About you: You will be a policy professional who brings: Knowledge and experience in the public sector in strategic policy development or analysis and providing policy advice to Ministers and/or Ministers’ offices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to liaise and collaborate effectively at all levels, and build and maintain strategic relationships. Sound understanding of the national security environment. National security sector experience would be advantageous.This role will suit a highly motivated individual who wants to further develop and broaden their skills in policy development or analysis and advice in a dynamic environment.You might have recently moved into a Senior Advisor role, or be looking to make the step up from an Advisor role.
