Front Office Assistant
Quest on Queen is looking for a motivated and professional Front Office Assistant to join our team. You’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a welcoming and professional reception service, handling reservations, and ensuring a high standard of customer care in line with the Quest Way.
You will need to be able to work 2-3 days across rotational shifts, including at least one weekend day/shift. Currently this equates to roughly 10-15 hours per week. You will handle all guest, internal customer enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
Reception Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 7pm, Saturday & Sunday 8am to 4pm.Shifts are: 1pm to 7pm weekdays and 8am to 4pm weekends.
Available for after-hours duty management (on-call, in the leisure of your apartment); fully furnished accommodation provided plus an on-call allowance the week you are completing after hours duty management. More information will be provided at the interview stage.
Key responsibilities include:- Checking guests in and out according to procedures
- Answering calls and managing reservations via RMS
- Handling guest enquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Promoting Quest services and local attractions
- Processing payments and balancing daily accounts
- Maintaining a clean and presentable reception area
- Assisting with luggage and coordinating meeting facilities when required
- Following all health, safety, and security procedures
- Previous customer service experience (hospitality preferred)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confident telephone manner and interpersonal ability
- IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook; RMS experience an advantage)
- Sales experience would be beneficial
- Professional presentation and a friendly, approachable manner
- Enthusiasm for the hospitality and tourism industry
