Estimator/Senior Estimator
A mid-sized regional construction company working in the commercial, aged care, low rise, interiors and industrial space is viewed by several as reliable and a trusted main contractor. They are known in the industry for staffing their jobs with the right people, treating their subbies with respect, paying them on time and employing smart people creating a reasonable work/life balance for their site staff.
They build generally across $500k-$30m across new build offices, warehouses, childcare, industrial units, aged care facilities and accompanying fitouts.
This is a key role with a focus on managing the tendering and estimating tasks of the construction process from start to completion, the role requires precision estimating understanding margins and quality tendering.
You will be working autonomously and have strong levels of job ownership and desire to grow the level of job pipeline and profitability of those projects.
In order to be a success in this position, you must have at least 8+ years of estimating experience across a range of commercial builds as well as knowledge of the local market would be ideal, understanding rates and commercial construction legislation.You possess a relevant tertiary qualification.
Salary - $130K - $170K
