Sales/ Business Development
We are looking for a driven Sales and Business Development Manager to grow our client base across New Zealand.

The Role
You'll be responsible for growing our commercial footprint — identifying new opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and converting prospects into long-term clients. You'll work across New Zealand, with a particular focus on large organisations in:
Construction & infrastructureTransport & logistics
Freight & supply chain
Government & public sector
Mining, energy, and heavy industry
You'll manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting and pitching through to onboarding and ongoing account management — supported by our Wellington operations team.
What You'll Be Doing
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target industries nationwide
Build and nurture relationships with Health & Safety Managers, HR leaders, fleet managers, and procurement teams at large organisations
Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations tailored to each client's industry and compliance needs
Represent us at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
Maintain a strong pipeline and provide regular reporting to the leadership
Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery for new clients
Stay across NZ workplace drug and alcohol legislation, industry trends, and competitor activity
What We're Looking For
Proven B2B sales or business development experience — you've sold services or solutions, not just products
A strong existing network within construction, transport, freight, government, or similar large-scale industries — this is essential, not a nice to have
Experience engaging with senior stakeholders: H&S managers, procurement teams, C-suite, or fleet/operations managers
A hunter mentality with the discipline to follow through — you open doors and you close deals
Confident communicator: equally comfortable at a boardroom table and on a job site
Self-motivated and able to manage your own pipeline with minimal hand-holding
Clean driver's licence — this role involves travel across NZ
Nice to have: experience in health and safety, compliance, field services, or workforce solutions; familiarity with CRM tools.
