Job description key tasks,duties and responsibilities.

The employee’s tasks and duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Welcome clients to the spa and engage them in conversation to determine the services that they need.
• Provide clients with knowledge of different types of available massage or body treatment and suggest appropriate massage therapies for individual clients.
• Confer with clients about their medical histories and any problems with stress and/or pain in order to determine whether massage would be helpful.
• Undertake a pre-therapy physical assessment of the clients. Evaluate clients by conducting various motion and muscle testing and suggest treatment plans.
• Perform various kinds of massage using Thai Massage technique such as Deep Tissue, Soft Tissue, Medical, Foot reflexology or Facial.
• Perform other types of massage such as Coconut Therapy, Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy for relaxation purpose.
• Use of Essential Oils, Hot Stone or Thai Herbal Compress Therapy will be added to assist recovery and soothe the sore and overworked muscles if needed.
• Prepare and blend different products for the massage or body treatment according to clients’ condition.
• Discuss causes of discomfort and advise on techniques and lifestyle changes to minimize pain and discomfort.
• Provide clients with guidance and information about techniques for postural improvement and stretching, strengthening, relaxation and rehabilitative exercises.
• Uphold the standard of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.
• Cleaning massage area.
• Curry out laundry duties.
• Reception duties: taking booking, up selling the spa treatments, etc.
• Follow all company safety procedures.
