About the Role
Ticketek New Zealand is looking for a Marketing Manager to join the team on an 8-month max-term contract. This role leads the delivery of marketing campaigns across a diverse event portfolio, with a focus on driving ticket sales and supporting client success through some of New Zealand’s largest owned marketing channels.
Reporting to the NZ General Manager and sitting within the Senior Management Team, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing tailored marketing plans, managing paid marketing revenue, and overseeing affiliate and third-party marketing and partnerships.
You’ll act as a key contact for partners — confident in reporting on performance, drawing insights, and making informed recommendations to build trusted, effective relationships.
This role calls for a strong, hands-on leader to manage two direct reports: a Marketing Executive, responsible for campaign delivery and reporting, and a Digital & Content Specialist, focused on website content and technical ticket builds.

Requirements
What does a day in the life look like?- Manage and execute marketing campaigns across a variety of channels
- Work closely with clients, decoding information and providing recommendations
- Lead and manage two direct reports
- Juggle multiple projects, events, and stakeholders at once
- Lead projects independently with high organisation and motivation
- Use CRM systems to support campaigns and relationships
- Attend live events to support campaign execution and engagement
About you
Essential Skills and Experience- Minimum 5 years’ marketing experience
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business/financial drivers
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Confidence in negotiation and client-facing communication
- Proven team leadership and people management skills
- High level of attention to detail and professionalism under pressure
- Relevant degree or business qualification (preferred)
- Genuine passion for sport and live entertainment
