You will oversee a portfolio of residential properties in the Taumarunui CBD, with strong opportunities for professional development and career progression.
What You’ll Do:
- Property Management: Maintain high occupancy levels and ensure positive tenant experiences.
- Inspections & Maintenance: Carry out regular inspections and coordinate timely maintenance to keep properties in excellent condition.
- Tenancy Management: Manage the full tenancy lifecycle, including advertising, screening, onboarding, renewals, and exits.
- Financial Management: Oversee rent collection, manage arrears, and provide accurate financial reporting to landlord.
- Compliance: Ensure all properties comply with current legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
- Portfolio Growth: Contribute to the continued growth and success of the property portfolio — and your own professional development.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in residential property management.
- Sound knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple properties and priorities.
- Motivated, proactive, and committed to career progression.
