About the role

Deliver high-quality personal care and daily living support in a permanent part-time position. This role is mainly weekend-based, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts during the week. You'll work closely with nurses and the wider care team to ensure safe, consistent, and culturally responsive care.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide personal care with kindness and respect
• Support residents with mobility and daily living tasks
• Observe and report changes in resident wellbeing
• Work collaboratively with nurses and the care team
• Maintain a safe environment, upholding Tikanga Maori practices

• Permanent part-time role with consistent weekend shifts
• Opportunity to pick up extra hours during the week

Skills & experience

To be successful, you'll bring:

• Proven caregiving experience, ideally in aged care
• NZ recognised Caregiver qualification (preferred)
• Strong understanding of Health & Disability Sector Standards
• Reliable, compassionate, and team-focused approach
• Flexibility to work weekends and additional shifts as needed
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
