Marine Technician
Farnley's Yamaha, New Zealand's leading Yamaha Marine dealership, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Outboard Marine Technician to join their team. This exciting opportunity is a part of the company's expansion that includes an industry-leading onsite specialized marine service center.

About the role
As a marine technician you will be tasked with general servicing, running diagnostics as well as rigging and repair work. The role offers a variety of tasks, some days you will be installing electronics and accessories and on other days you will be doing water tests.
Yamaha outboard experience is preferred but not essential.
Key responsibilities:
- New Boat Rigging
- Yamaha outboard servicing
- Repowers and water tests
- A friendly, team-orientated attitude
- A clean NZ drives license
- Good time management
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Clean and tidy appearance
- Ability to work unsupervised & in a team setting
- Confidence in towing and driving boats
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
- Proven experience as a Marine Technician
- Strong knowledge of boat mechanics and electrical systems
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
