We have 3 vacancies for Automotive Technicians in our Albany Toyota Dealership on Auckland's North Shore. There may be times where you will be required to work at one of our other service centres based in either Warkworth, Whangaparaoa or Browns Bay.

These positions are permanent and full time with the opportunity to work overtime.

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified Automotive Technician / 5 years or more experience.
  • Excellent understanding of Diagnosing (fault finding), repairing and servicing, and experience with diagnostic scan tools would be an advantage.
  • Accuracy and quality focused with the ability to problem solve and think laterally.
  • Organised, efficient, and methodical.
  • Calm under pressure.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Possess a “Can Do” attitude.
  • Clean and full driver's license.

  • Hourly rate of $30 - $35 an hour.
  • 40 hours of minimum work (remuneration package of $62,400 - $72,800 based on minimum 40 hours).
Skills Required: The successful applicant will need to have strong diagnostic and mechanical skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferably Toyota Pro – Technician path / Toyota Diagnostic Technician.
  • Have a sound knowledge of Modern Toyota vehicle electrical diagnostics, servicing, and repairs.
  • Able to use Toyota SST ( Special Service Tools – Such as diagnostic tools Global Tech stream and Pico-scope ).
  • To be able to work unsupervised.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Your experience will be invaluable in assisting the development and training of our apprentice staff.
